Design Process I demoed some R100's and 300's and liked them, but didn't fall in love with them. I started to do some research and saw SVS do speakers now, as well as subs. I had a 20-39 when I lived in the US and that was amazing so I decided to upgrade the bass on my system and see if the MS speakers worked better with music with a big sub to take the strain. I ended up buying a SVS SB13 Ultra as the subs in the MS500's were good but not that good. I bought an ex demo one from Frank Harvey the other week and WOW, what an amazing piece of equipment! The fit and finish was excellent too. It made a difference to the MS500's but the maple finish of them didnt fit the new sub so that was the push (along with a green light from the powers that be!) to make a change!
