About this deal

Disneyland Paris collaborated with over 50 artists from Marvel Comics and Studios to create 300+ pieces of artwork, including comic book covers, posters, illustrations from films, storyboards, original sketches and more for Disney’s Hotel New York — The Art of Marvel. Not necessarily major news, but with Disneyland Paris starved of new attractions (and no longer getting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge), this should be a nice little refresh. Star Tours remains an excellent attraction, and updates like this help keep in fresh! If you’re a Disney-file, you’re going to want 2 to 3 days to really take in the park. There are only 4 rides that are unique to Paris: I think an aesthetic similar to Pixar Studio in Hollywood Studios would help Toon Studio as it would be the perfect entrance to Worlds of Pixar, they don’t need to add rides, just change the architecture aesthetic, although a Monster Inc Door Coaster would be a great addition ! You may also want to factor in when the locals break up from school too. Here is a full list of French school holidays and bank holidays to help give you even more of an indicator of when the busiest months will be…

The hotel even offers a complete range of services for little ones, including bottle warmers and babysitting services, making their stay even more special and yours even more convenient. The focal point of this expansion area will be an elegant table-service restaurant comprising 250 seats on the lakefront. With its Art Nouveau design, the restaurant will offer breathtaking panoramic views across the lake along with special meet-and-greet opportunities with characters. We’re wrapping up our own Disney trip, and we’ve had so much fun surprising our boys and building up anticipation!Another visual delight was the arcades — enclosed pathways that run behind the shops of Main Street U.S.A. These pathways serve the practical purpose of moving big crowds but in a visually stunning setting. Of course, the awe-inspiring Disneyland Paris castle is another gorgeous feature that no guest should miss. Many attractions are familiar — but uniquely different Parisians use the metro a lot and there are a number of unwritten rules that they tend to abide by. These will likely be lesser on the RER A line as it is often filled with tourists heading to Disneyland Paris but it is good to be aware of them nonetheless. For one, it is considered rude to eat on the train so try not to plan on eating your breakfast on the train on the way there. It is also considered rude to talk on the phone or have loud conversations whilst you’re on the train, as well as to sit on the foldable chairs whilst other people are standing. with a phased transformation of the entire area to give the district a brand-new visual identity and introduce exciting new offerings into the mix. The rooms are not large, though are large by Paris or New York standards. They are well thought out with space for bags without feeling too crowded. However, we are not Antipodeans lugging around huge suitcases from our month-long European vacation…

At Disney Studios, I liked the big shop that took up the right hand side (from the park) of the Legends of Hollywood Studio. It seemed to have a bit of everything, without going too nuts. Frozen : A Musical Invitation — This new interactive adventure transports guests to the Kingdom of Arendelle within the Animation Celebration in Walt Disney Studios Park. This can be very frustrating for planning purposes, and playing the “ what’s open today?” game while in the park is equally frustrating, as the signs up indicating which restaurants are open differ from spot to spot. You often don’t know what is open until you walk up to a particular restaurant. Don’t worry about the other facilities when booking your accommodation. The Newport Bay Club has an indoor pool. Others have pools, indoor and outdoor playgrounds and even pony rides. Seriously, you will be so tired after a day visiting Disneyland Paris, you will not use them unless you are staying for multiple nights.

Above is concept art of the “electric parade in the sky” sequence of Disney Symphony of Colours, which features a drone sequence inspired by the iconic Main Street Electrical Parade. This will illuminate the sky with a palette of brilliant colours this winter, combining fountains, lights and projections. Disney Symphony of Colours launches on January 8, 2024. The activities and facilities make it great option for families, with an indoor tennis court, mini golf, outdoor play area, video games arcade and one of the best swimming pools at Disneyland Paris. Get ready to explore all the nooks and crannies of this heated indoor pool, complete with waterfalls, rivers and whirlpools. Prepare your child (and yourself): watch the older Disney films, most recently. Aladdin, Cars, Nemo, Ratatouille and Toy Story (later you can add Frozen and the Avengers to the list).

The most common complaints about theme parks around the world are the crowds and long lines. Disneyland Paris certainly has its fair share of both, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that standby queues for attractions were not as painfully long as guests might fear. This depends on where you are staying in Paris, but from the city centre it takes roughly 45 minutes using the RER train, 1 hour and 30 minutes getting the Disney shuttle bus and 40 minutes to drive. Taking the bus or driving yourself to the parks is dependent on traffic conditions so bear that in mind when you’re planning your journey, especially if you are travelling during rush hour (Monday- Friday, between 7:30-9:00am and 5:00-6:00pm). February half term is one of the cheapest times to visit during the School Holidays. During this holiday period you can expect to see lower crowd levels due to the colder weather and that many families within France and Europe tend to go skiing during this school holiday. In February you can expect the park to close earlier at around 7pm or 8pm, which is also great for children’s bedtime routines and allows them to watch the amazing night-time castle shows and fireworks! For everything else on the horizon at Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park, consult our Guide to What’s New & Next in 2023 & 2024 at Disneyland Paris. That covers all of the projects slated for the parks and hotels, when you can expect new attractions to debut, resort closures, and refurbishments.
