[2a] The caster gathers the power of the storm into a sphere of pure azyrite force which he then launches at a group of nearby foes, damaging them.

Reconnecting to the premise of this section, that Stormcast are a beginner-friendly army but with some considerations, you can easily see now why Stormcast are so good for beginners (wide range, many options, strong units, presence in every phase of the game, easy to collect and to paint) but how they can become more complex really fast (too many options, not all units are easily available, different weapon loadouts with drastic differences in performance, etc.). Though laconic and circumspect, Astreia has an iron certainty to her that means those around her are usually swayed to her cause by just a few well-chosen words. Since her second reforging she has been surrounded by a corona of static electricity that causes her flaxen hair to stand out around her head. She wears that halo of energy like a crown - even when helmed for battle, she is limned with a glow that marks her out as a champion of surpassing power. [2a] The Hammers of Sigmar were chosen to spearhead the new war against Chaos in the Mortal Realms and begin the Realmgate Wars. They were tasked claiming a Realmgate on the Igneous Delta from the forces of Chaos, to allow the stormcast hosts to march directly into battle. Most enemies would have recoiled in dismay from the onslaught as the Stormcast arrived in bolts of lightning but instead, the warriors of Korghos Khul’s Goretide welcomed it with bloodthirsty howls and the opening moments of the battle were frantic and confused. Conditional battleline: Annihilators, Decimators, Protectors, Retributors. Most Lord-Arcanums of the bombastic and bellicose type prefer to ride a Celestial Dracoline that unleash great blasts of electric force from their razor-sharp claws when pounding on the enemy. These Lord-Arcanums can use celestial energy to infuse fellow dracoline riders as well, making their leap even more effective. [1] [3] [4]
