If there is no change in the status of the LEDs on the AP, this unit is faulty and needs a replacement. When a license key is applied as a renewal, the organization’s licensing state updates to match the device count of that license key. For example, if an organization with licensing for five access points were to have a license key for 2 AP licenses appliedas a renewal, that organization would only be licensed for twoaccess points. In this instance,three access pointsare over their license limit (see Co-Term Out-of-Licensing Compliance Warnings and Solutions) and therefore out of compliance ( License Problem - Out of Compliance). This is the default mode that MG cellular gateway will be configured without-of-the-box orwhen a factory reset is performed.In default mode, the standard operation and roles of both ports on the MG cellular gateway are set asLAN ports. Once an AP is added to a network, the network will self-configure an SSID for ease of use and deployment. The co-term licensing model supports MR Enterprise, MR Advanced, and MR Upgrade license types. A co-term Meraki organization can be in one of the two product editions: MR Enterprise or MR Advanced. Unplug the MR18 from your router, and directly wire your computer to it. Once wired, you should get a IP from the MR18. Out of band architecture preserves end-user network functionality, even if connectivity to Cisco Meraki's cloud services is interrupted Cisco Meraki logs the time, IP, and approximate location (city, state) of logged in administrators. Once complete, remove power from the Meraki MR18. Now that power is removed, in your UART session hold down “2” on your keyboard while applying power.
